Here's the whole story: we don't collect anything, and nothing you put in the app ever leaves your phone. No account to make, no servers to send it to, nobody watching.
Nothing at all. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party trackers anywhere in the app. We never see or receive what you keep in it, so there is simply nothing for us to hold.
Everything you add stays on your phone. Your items, dates, reminders, notes, and any attachments sit in the app's own storage on the device and never get uploaded anywhere. If your phone is offline, the app still works exactly the same.
If you want, you can put the app behind a 4-digit PIN. Turn that on and your things are encrypted on the device with AES-256. We never store the PIN, and there's no way to recover it. That's the trade for real privacy: forget the PIN and the encrypted data is gone for good, so write it down somewhere safe and keep a backup.
Since it all lives on your phone, you're in full control. Tap Clear all data in Settings, or just uninstall the app, and it's wiped for good. We keep no copy because we never had one. If you want to hold onto your data, use Back up in Settings first.
The one-time Pro upgrade is handled entirely by Google Play. Your payment details go to Google, never to us. The purchase is tied to your Google account, so you can bring it back on a new phone.
Boring App is a general organizer for everyday life admin. It isn't made for or aimed at children.
